Rodungla Trek 









Rodungla Trek is one of the beautiful and fair trek in Bhutan. It starts from Bumthang, the central most district of Bhutan and end at the Tashiyangtse. The trek is along the path once used as trading route before road were built in Bhutan.

The Trek will provide you with amazing experience through various kind of vegetation, remote villages with different culture and traditions, and the sight of beautiful natural environment.

ITINERARY SUMMARY


Day 01: Toktu Zampa (Bumthang) – Ngang Lhakhang, ( 12 km, time – 4 1/2 hours)

Day 02: Ngang Lhakhang – Ugyenchholing, (17 km, time – 7/8 hours.)

Day 03: Ugyenchholing – Phokpey, ( 17 km, time – 6 hours.)

Day 04: Phokpey – Pemi, ( 20 km, time – 7 hours.)

Day 05:Pemi – Khaine Lhakhang, (21 km, time – 7 / 8 hours.)

Day 06: Khaine Lhakhang – Tangmachu, (18 km, time – 6 / 7 hours.)

Day 07: Tangmachu – Menji, (16 km, time – 5 hours.)

Day 08: Menji – Pemi, (20 km, time – 7 hours.)

Day 9: Pemi – Taupang, ( 21 km, time – 7 / 8 hours.)

Day 10: Taupang – Trashi Yangtse, (24 km, time – 8 hours.)

Royal Manas National Park is the Bhutan's oldest protected areas. It was established as Game Sanctuary in early 1960's and in 1964, it was declared as the Wild Life Sanctuary and in 1993, it was further upgraded to National Park.
